Helping your audience to understand you
One of the most difficult aspects of good communication is when you need others to deliver your messages to your audience. For many NGOs and campaigning organisations one of those key delivers is the media. So it’s important they understand you, what you are about and what you do. With this in mind Stuart and Christina from The Message Hub, worked with the Press Gazette (the leading trade magazine for journalists and the media) to develop and publish a reporter's guide to the Rainforest Alliance.
The Message Hub also worked with some of the UK leading food brands to help them better communicate their work with the Rainforest Alliance. This included Kraft’s Kenco coffee, Unilevers PG Tips, Mars (Galaxy), Betty’s and Taylor’s Yorkshire Tea, and M&S whose coffee served in their cafés and restaurants is now triple certified as Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and organic.
