| Campaign development and delivery
Stuart developed Plan International’s first global advocacy campaign on Universal Birth Registration, securing the support of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. He successfully led the 1997, 2001 and 2005 general election campaigns in Reading, returning MPs to parliament on each occasion. He has also run a number of successful local election campaigns.
Public Affairs
As an Associate of Green Alliance Stuart has developed their international programme on the international climate change negotiations, and is leading a project looking at the reform of the EU’s budget.
Events and facilitation
Stuart is an expert in facilitating workshops and seminars including internal planning and strategy sessions for WWF and Plan and leading policy forums involving stakeholders from NGOs, business and government.
Media relations
Stuart has extensive media experience from story development and placement to effective media and message management.
Stuart is a non-executive Director and Deputy Chairman of Reading Transport Limited which provides public transport services through Reading Buses, Newbury Buses and Goldline Travel.
