interesting stuff

Sometimes the biggest challenge to being environmentally and socially responsible is knowing where to start. Here are some sites we have found useful in helping us to tread softly on the earth.

Carbon Footprinting
Knowing your impact in terms of your carbon footprint is often a good way to assess how much of an impact you are having. Stuart currently uses WWF’s footprint calculator to assess his. Try it. Go to http://footprint.wwf.org.uk

Carbon Off Setting
As a last resort and if you have to generate carbon (and let’s face it we all do) then you might want to think about off setting. There are many companies offering off sets, some better than others. Environmental NGOs have developed a “gold standard” for off setting so please check that any company you use meets this standard. We find www.climatecare.org to be our favourite.
